Sessions, a premium hair salon in Hurstville, believe that great hair – and great hair salon experiences – are what we all deserve. 

They believe their customers should not only walk out of the salon with boosted confidence and their dream hair but that they should also feel amazing and looked after during their time spent there. 

And when they approached me for brand strategy and brand design, they were not only ready to stand out in their marketplace, but also communicate their above points of differences with the world, too. 

Working closely with Angelo and Carla, the founders of Sessions, we positioned the brand around these core values and this purpose through strategy and then brought this to life visually and emotionally. 

The Sessions visual direction focuses on this dual meaning; where ‘hair’ meets ‘vibe’, showing that when customers walk out of the salon, they should not only be walking out looking great but feeling great, too. 

Pairing clean and approachable elements with a playful twist, Sessions show to their audience they are credible and modern, with a ‘high-vibes’ twist, while the repetitive typography elements indicate that there’s more value to their experience than a ‘traditional’ hair salon.
