A unique hair & beauty experience

When Oz Hair & Beauty identified that they were ready to expand and grow, they also recognised something else – that they needed a brand and strategy that empowered + equipped them to do so. 

Through a collaborative brand workshop, I partnered with the founder Anthony Nappa to position the brand in a way that stunningly and strategically stood out in the marketplace by not only highlighting their unique hair & beauty product experience but uncovering more than that, too. 

From their fantastic value to their superb customer service, to their tips and tutorials, freebies and fast shipping, we discovered and defined their additional value as part of their brand strategy sessions, helping to transform them from the inside out. 

This brand strategy and positioning was then translated into the brand’s visual identity; an approachable and warm identity, making customers feel special and cared for at every step of their beauty journey, even after leaving the checkout.

Oz Hair & Beauty’s clean and modern typographic stencil logo conveys the idea of the collaborative and quality elements that make up the Oz Hair & Beauty experience – from products to support to empowerment and more. 

The flexible brand identity system with geometric, quirky graphics and patterns combined with playful typography further supports the idea of the added and layered perks throughout the customer journey.

This rebrand not only achieved the stunning look and strategy the client desired but has helped the brand expand into physical spaces, onboard additional and premium suppliers, and increase the consumer confidence and clarity in the brand.
